Several Vero Beach students were recognized at the Indian River Regional Science & Engineering Fair awards ceremony.

Shown (left to right) are Principal Shawn O’Keefe; Tessa Johnson, who won first place in the category of Behavioral Sciences, and was awarded a $72,000 scholarship to the Florida Institute of Technology; Griffin Wagner, who took second place in the Environmental Engineering category;  Lauren Amos and Sydney Tran, who won the top spot in the Physics & Astronomy category. Griffin, Lauren and Sydney all walked away with the most prized award—the opportunity to compete at the Intel International Science & Engineering Fair in Phoenix, Arizona.
