The 2020 Graduation Ceremony for Vero Beach High School will be postponed due to the current situation related to COVID-19. We feel that it is extremely important to celebrate the accomplishments of our Class of 2020 Seniors, while also ensuring that the safety and well-being of our school community members. As a result, we are tentatively scheduling the 2020 graduation ceremony for June 12, 2020, given that guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) indicates that such a gathering will be safe for our students, parents, staff, and community. If the June date is not allowable, per CDC and state guidelines, we also have set the date of July 10 as a secondary, tentative date.

A decision to hold the ceremony for the tentative, June 12 date will be made no later than May 29, 2020 to provide high school seniors and their families sufficient opportunity make appropriate plans and arrangements. The graduation ceremony will be held at the school’s football stadium as originally planned. However, there is a possibility of a limitation on the number of guests that can be in attendance at the ceremony for each senior, due to possible, future social distancing guidelines.

Vero Beach High School will be hosting drive through cap and gown distributions at the Vero Beach High School parking lot with date and times to be announced soon. Please visit our website for details and updates.
