At the Indian River Regional Science & Engineering Fair Awards Ceremony, all Vero Beach High School students came home with awards. Isaac Hunter won first place in the Intelligent Machines category. Jade Butler & Jillie Sweetland won 2nd place in the Earth & Environmental Science category. The team also won the NOAA ‘Taking the Pulse of the Planet’ award.
Griffin Wagner brought home several awards: first place in the Earth & Environmental Science category as well as the TJ Evens Environmental Science Award, The Award of Continued Excellence in Science, and Office of Naval Research Award. All three projects will be competing at the Florida State Science & Engineering Fair in March. Griffin Wagner was awarded a prestigious entry to the Intel International Science & Engineering Fair in May. Congratulations to Isaac, Jade, Jillie & Griffin on their accomplishments!
