VBHS Macy's Parade

Three talented members of the Vero Beach High School band program will take their skills to the national stage this Thanksgiving. Juan Celin and Cole Lancaster, both trumpet players, and Annabelle Robins, a flutist, have been selected to march with the prestigious Macy’s Great American Marching Band in New York City.

Chosen from hundreds of applicants across the country, these students join a select group of high school musicians invited to perform in the parade, which draws millions of spectators in person and on television. Their selection is a testament to their dedication, discipline, and exceptional musical talent, as well as the strong performing arts program at Vero Beach High School.

As they prepare for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, Juan, Cole, and Annabelle will participate in rehearsals, performances, and other musical experiences that accompany the event. This recognition highlights the outstanding achievements of our students and the commitment of our educators to providing opportunities that inspire growth, creativity, and excellence.

We congratulate Juan, Cole, and Annabelle on this remarkable accomplishment. Their performance will not only showcase their talents but also represent the School District of Indian River County on a national stage.
