The Vero Beach High School Band delivered an outstanding performance on a national stage after being selected to participate in the 2025 ReliaQuest Bowl. The ReliaQuest Bowl Game featured University of Iowa and Vanderbilt University, and the VBHS Band was one of only three bands from across the country chosen to perform as part of the celebration.
The band proudly marched in the ReliaQuest Bowl Parade, where their excellence in performance and presentation earned them multiple top honors, including Best Overall Drum Majors, Best Overall Percussion, and Best Overall General Effect. These awards reflect the talent, discipline, and teamwork demonstrated by the students and their directors.
Following the parade, the VBHS Band performed at halftime of the ReliaQuest Bowl at Raymond James Stadium alongside the Taylor High School Band from Texas and the Marion Harding High School Band from Ohio. The halftime performance showcased the strength of high school band programs from across the nation and highlighted the exceptional caliber of the VBHS Band.
Beyond the performances, students made lasting memories through meaningful interactions with members of the University of Iowa and Vanderbilt University band programs, gaining valuable insight and inspiration from fellow musicians at the collegiate level.
